Principal’s Message
Dear Water Spring Elementary Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We are so excited to have you and your children back with us for another year of learning and growth.
This past year brought some significant changes to our school, including transitions in leadership and the formation of new teams. While we navigated these shifts, we also learned and grew. We acknowledge that our school grade moved to a "B," and we want to assure you that we are wholeheartedly committed to regaining the "A" our students deserve.
We've been hard at work this summer, reflecting, planning, and implementing strategies to ensure an even stronger and more supportive learning environment for every child. We are finding our way forward, making the necessary adjustments, and are confident in our path ahead.
Our dedicated custodians and staff are already working diligently to ensure our school is sparkling clean and perfectly ready for the new academic year. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for all our students.
At this time, our team is focused on building balanced classes, carefully considering the valuable input you provided on last year's survey. Our goal is to create optimal learning environments for every child. Due to our classes being full, please note that we will not be able to accommodate class change requests at this time. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to create the best possible start for everyone.
Mark your calendars for our Meet the Teacher event, which will take place on Thursday, August 7th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to meet their teacher, see their classroom, and get acquainted with their new learning space.
Following Meet the Teacher, join us for the PTO's Back to School Bash from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM! It's a fantastic chance to connect with other families and kick off the school year with some fun.
Our first day of school is Monday, August 11, 2025. We hope to see all our students on time and ready to learn. Our first bell rings at 8:40 am and our tardie bell rings at 8:45 am.
We look forward to partnering with you for a successful and memorable 2025-2026 school year!
Warmly,
The Water Spring Elementary Team
